3WHAT TYPE OF THE METAL YOU USE?
The Sterling silver we use in our charm disc is a precious metal comprised of 92.5% pure silver. The charm disc described as ‘gold plate silver' is sterling silver with an 18K gold plate, to a thickness of 2 microns. As our charm’s weight is 2 grams, the hallmarking of the silver and gold plated silver is not obligatory. However, we guarantee to our customers that we use the purest sterling silver for our product.
4IS YOUR PRODUCT COMPLIANT WITH THE RESPONSIBLE WORK PRACTICE?

6HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY ASKA MATERNITY MOVEMENT BRACELET?
We want you to enjoy the support of your Aska Maternity Movement Bracelet for as long as you need it. Since many natural gemstones can be quite delicate, hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners should be avoided at all times. We recommend that you avoid spraying perfume or hairspray directly onto the stones. Also, wait until body cream or perfume has dried completely before putting on your bracelet. If colour transfer does occur simply wipe your jewellery with a damp soft cloth and leave to dry naturally. As with our gemstones, avoid direct contact of the sterling silver charm with perfumes & creams. These can damage the surface of the metal & lead to tarnishing. Do not use a chemical cleaner, instead use a dry, lint free cloth or silver polishing cloth to gently clean the surface of the metal. Do not clean using tissue paper or scratchy materials, this can mark the surface of the metal. Elastic string may also become loose over-time, so take extra care of the choking hazard if the string has broken, especially if you have children around.
7IS MY ASKA MATERNITY MOVEMENT BRACELET A MEDICAL DEVICE?
No, the Aska maternity movement bracelet is not a medical device. It is a functional piece of jewellery that helps future mothers to count the a baby’s movements during the pregnancy. When you are on the move, working, doing shopping, enjoying a night out with friends, or during your regular daily routine, it helps you count your baby’s movements in an easy way. We don’t state any recommended number of the movements that a baby should make each day nor we accept any responsibility (liability) for any misinterpretation of such counts and the actions the customer take based on the information. We however, do encourage you to contact your local maternity department as soon as you notice any irregularities in your baby’s movements. Please, read carefully our instructions for use before you start using your Aska maternity movement bracelet . More about the importance of monitoring the baby’s movements you can be find on our Movement page
8How to use Aska Maternity Movement Bracelet
o At the start of each day put the bracelet on your preferred wrist and gently move the hoop with the Pendant back to the pearl starting bead.

o When you feel an episode of movement move the hoop forward over the next bead, at each additional episode of movement move forward a bead until you work your way to the opposite end.

o Once you reach the end you can start to work your way back around. Try to take note of the times of day baby moves too. This can help you understand when to expect to feel movements. At about 26-28 weeks you should notice that you are moving the hoop roughly the same amount each day.

o Should you choose to breast feed your baby the bracelet can also be used as a feeding reminder. Simply swap the bracelet from wrist to wrist to show you which side you last fed on.
